He was predeceased by: his parents, G. W. "Billy" Bayer, Sr. and Pauline Frances Bayer (Frye); and his wife Lila Rebecca Bayer (French). He is survived by: his daughter Karen S. B. Walling; and his siblings, Charles E. Bayer (Mary) and Ruthie House.
