She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde V. Spies and Evelyn Herman Spies; and her brother Stanley Spies. She is survived by: her husband Harvey "Danny" Clarke; her children, Brian Clarke (Jenny) of Martinsburg and Jessica Pflieger (Derek) of Hedgesville; her grandchildren, Braxon Clarke, Holden Clarke, Layne Pflieger and Kyla Mae Pflieger; and her siblings, Wayne (Lois), Glenn (Tillie), Donald (Tina), David (Sandi), Daniel (Michelle), Rev. Barbara Spies and Deborah Shickle (Terry). She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
