It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clarissa Ann Perry of Haywood, West Virginia, who passed away on January 30, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Charles Lester and Mary Mae Stout Carnes; her brothers, Charles L. Carnes and David Carnes; and her half-sister Shirley Riffle.

She is survived by : her husband Samuel Bryant Perry; her daughters, Patricia A. Bennett (Dave), Cheryl Suan and Mary Beth Carder (Stephen); her grandchildren, Brittany Campbell, Abby Deitzel (Zack), Amanda Brook Curry (Tim DeBerry), Alyssa Tillman (Michael), Ryan Pierce (Georgia Cain) and Nicci Leggett (William); her great grandchildren, Haleigh, Mackenzie, Mattie, Slade, Reese, Jamison, Elyah and Rowan; her siblings, Karen Shaver, Foster Carnes (Bambi) and Margaret; her half-sister Betty Quinn of Mesa, AZ; and her pets, Duncan, Ajax, Fern, Cooper and Buster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
