He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow W. Frye and Ada Amburgey; his children, Willie Frye III, Michael Bruce Frye, Elliston Frye and Connie Frye Steele; his granddaughter Christine Frye Hannah; his brother Claude Frye; and his parents-in-law, Albert Conley Sr. and Ada Kathleen Conley.
He is survived by: his wife Edith Ann Frye; his daughters, Dianna Frye Brumfield (Everrest) of Mill Creek, WV and Francis Frye of Chapmanville, WV; his stepdaughters, Anna Lambert of Danville, WV, Cynthia Lowe (Charlie) of Logan, WV and Abby Osborne (Josh) of Danville, WV; his siblings, Georgia Frye Manns, Paul Frye and Frank Frye; and his close friend Calvin Dalton.
