He was predeceased by: his parents, Melvin Farley and Vira Farley of Harts; and his siblings, Lucille Mullins, Verdie Maynard, Rachel Farley, Pearl Johnson, Howard Adkins and Melvin Farley Jr..
He is survived by: his wife Lavinia Sergent Farley of Indian; his children, David Farley (Heather) of Indian Creek and DeLee Collier (Jason) of Waco, KY.; his siblings, Jane Carter (Jimmy) of Chapmansville and Doug Farley of Harts; and his grandchildren, Alexis Farley, Joshua, Colton and Kaiden Collier.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Eastern Kentucky Veterans Center Residence Activities Fund.
