She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilde "Bill" Fugate and Lillian Fugate; her grandparents, Robert, Pearlie Fugate, Everett and Polly Browning; her in-law Annie Collins; her siblings, Gary Fugate (Brenda), Catherine Walker, Fred Collins (Betty) and Gaynell McCloud (Paul); her siblings-in-law, Dorothy Collins, Byrd Workman, Nobel Partch and Delmer Dillon; and her grandson Chad Carter.
She is survived by: her husband Gary Collins; her daughters, Trista Petroff (John) and Carolyn Workman (Nathaniel); her sisters, Carol Dillon, Tina Fugate and Mary Adkins (Phillip); her grandchildren, Tyler Carter (Haley), Zackary Workman (Heather), Allie Browning, Lillie Browning, Jackson Petroff, Lanee Lambert, Casey Yon and Zoey Workman; her great grandchildren, Winston Workman and Addy Carter; her in-laws, Elbert Collins Jr., Gilbert Collins (Connie), Malinda Workman, Phyllis Collins and Carrie Conley; her aunts, Essie Watts (Raymond) and Bessie Watts (Delbert); her cousin Wendell Bryant (Barb); her close friend Jimmy Carter (Jane); and her caregiver Melissa Hensley. She is also survived by her husband, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Mudfork Freewill Baptist Church (476 Little Harts Creek Rd, Harts, WV 25524). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 29th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
