She was predeceased by: her parents, Millard Adams and Armilda Adams (Ramey); her former husband Howard "Weaver" Dempsey; her husband Willard Church of Man; her sisters, Weltha Jean Kirk (Tracy), Charlotte Ruth Smith (Ray), Belle Whitt (Doodie) and Phyllis Black (Blaine); and her in-laws, Jason and Belle Dempsey (Mullins).
She is survived by: her children, Sherrie Robin Browning (Eugene) of Harts and Millard "Bucky" Dempsey (Phyllis) of Harts; her grandchildren, Kent Dempsey (Nikki) of Harts, Isaiah John-Paul Browning of Harts and Brandi Smith (Dustin) of Chapmanville; her great grandchildren, Oliver Dempsey of Harts, Brooklin and Josiah Smith of Chapmanville; her sister Darlene Godfrey (late Charles) of Ohio; her close friend Margaret Thompson of Harts; and her caregivers, Leann Vance, Dr. Anitra Ellis, Dr. James Walker and Lily. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and brothers and sisters.
