He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Rush Hensley and Vivian Lambert Hensley; and his brothers, Dave, Burns, Attu, Koblenz and Robert Hensley.
He is survived by: his wife Vanna Hensley of Big Ugly; his children, Miranda Bunting (Chris) of Boone, Mike Hensley (Ola) of Big Ugly and Barry Hensley (Anita) of Big Ugly; his sister Brenda Dingess of Big Creek; his grandchildren, Zach Hensley (Allison), Justin Hensley (Sarah), Abigail Vance (Jake), Payton Hensley (Rebekka), Waylon Hensley, Legend Hensley, Sherry Hensley, Serenity Reese Bunting and Wyatt Bunting; his friend Jody; his great grandchildren, Finley Hensley, Rowan Hensley, Lillian Hensley and Bryce Vance; and his close friend Don Johnson. He is also survived by brothers.
