He is survived by: his wife Janet Ann Lucas; his children, Darla Brumfield (Brian), Kelly Carter (Shane), James Lucas Jr. (Joyce) and Adam Lucas (Jami); his siblings, Brenda Workman, Deloris Bradley and Terry Lucas; his grandchildren, Evan Brumfield, Luke Lucas, Shaina Carter, Ethan Brumfield, Chelsie Lucas, Cody Carter, Addy Jude, Gabbi Carter, Carson Carter, Isabella Lucas, Abygail Lucas, Bub Lucas, Maci Lucas and Paisley Lucas; and his great grandchildren, Jackson Carter, Kooper Brumfield, Brystol Jude and Eryn Jude.
