He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward "Big Eddie" Jones (Ginny) and Stella Jane Jones (Browning); his wife Lillie Faye Jones; his sister Sharon Lynn Jones; his grandparents, App Jones (Nancy), Rhoda Clark Watts (Rufus), Everett Browning and Polly Ann Browning (Kinser); and his parents-in-law, Ezra and Jewell Midkiff (Holbrook).
He is survived by: his pet Narla; his daughters, Melissa Lynn Jones (Raymond Gore) of Harts, WV and Marsha Lynn Jones (John Harless) of Ranger, WV; his siblings, Stella "Ann" Matney (Eddie) of Wayne, WV, Karen Jones Thompson of California, Kathy Jones Johnson Watts of Prichard, WV, Michael "Mike" Jones (Mary) of Fort Gay, WV and Ricky Jones (Alice) of Rootstown, OH; his grandchildren, Jacob Anthony Thompson of Ranger, WV, Maggian Thompson of Ranger, WV, Melanie "Breezy" BreAnn Jones (Nicholas Ramey) of Harts, WV, Britney "Britt" Nicole Smith (Kaleb Owsley) of Harts, WV and Christin "KeKee" Michelle Smith of Harts, WV; and his niece Sharlene Moore of Harts, WV..
