He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Vance and Stella Vance; his daughter Rebecca Orme; his grandson Dustin Spry; his siblings, Randy Jo Vance, James Timothy Vance Sr., Ricky Dale Vance and Lena Watts; his grandfather Worsh Vance; and his close friend Clyde Scarberry.
He is survived by: his daughters, Amy Vance and Melissa Vance; his siblings, Icindy Freeman, Lisha Adams, Roxieeamey and Lee Vance; and his niece Stacey Jarrell. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home, Inc. (220 Main St, Chapmanville, WV 25508). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
