He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Aldridge and Brookie Workman Aldridge; his son Owen Aldridge; his grandson Albert Carter; his great grandchild Austin Carter; his daughter-in-law Vickie Aldridge; his siblings, Wilburn Aldridge (Darlene), Della Bender (Rockne) and Mary Lou Nelson; and his parents-in-law, Cecil and Fannie Manns.
He is survived by: his wife Effie Manns Aldridge; his children, Brookie Carter (Dallas), Joyce Workman (Robert), Pamela Kinser (David), Bernie Aldridge Jr., Dale Aldridge (Angie), David Aldridge, Michael Aldridge (Brandi) and Greg Aldridge (Gina); his sister Carol Ramey (Perry Jr); and his close friends, Warren Lowe Jr., Buck Lowe, Gary Meeks and Silford Ramey. He is also survived by twenty grandchildren; a host of great and great-great grandchildren.
