Virginia Brooks Drain Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Brooks Drain of Harrisville, West Virginia, who passed away on October 2, 2021, at the age of 102, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Leonard Guy Drain; and her son Alton Paul Drain. She is survived by: her son Darwin F. Drain (Marie) of Harrisville, WV; her daughter-in-law Theresa Drain of Sistersville, WV; and her grandchildren, Jill Lindberg (Chris) of San Diego, CA, Craig Drain (Sarah) of Richmond, VA and Debra Doig (Tom) of Sistersville, WV. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
Virginia's trip through life included the great depression, sending her husband and both sons to military service overseas, overcoming the Covid Virus, hearing the 17 year locusts 6 times, dancing a jig at her 100th birthday party, and other items too numerous to mention.
