It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roger Lee George of Harrisville, West Virginia, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John B. Iams and Orpha Iams (Ferrebee); his wife Jennifer George; his siblings, Roland Tanzey and Velma Osborne; and his stepfather Dale Iams.
He is survived by: his sons, Daniel George (Traci) of Middletown, MD and Donnie George (Laurie) of Harrisville, WV; his grandchildren, Ashley, Hayden, Brittney, Haley, Hyatt, Kayla, Madelyn, Nathaniel and Morgan George; his great grandchild Noah George; and his siblings, Joy Mitchell (Jim) of Harrisville, WV, Karen Morris and Tony Tanzey (Peggy) of Grand Prairie.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the WV Veterans Nursing Home, One Freedom Way, Clarksburg, WV, 26301, in memory of Roger George.
