She was predeceased by: her parents, James Bailey and Stella Bailey (Osborne); her husband Curtis Sutphin; her children, Curtis Owen Sutphin and Angela Dawn Sutphin; and her sister Berlin Adkins.

She is survived by: her siblings, Wanda Davidson and Thomas Bailey. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
