It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Kitty Lea Danner (Harrisville, West Virginia), who passed away on May 16, 2020, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Levi David and Violet Ruth Myers Maus. She is survived by: her sons, Ray Melvin Danner of Marietta, OH and Kenneth David Danner; and her grandchildren, Angela Alvarez, Ryan Danner and David Danner. She is also survived by three great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hughes River Presbyterian Church, c/o Ivan Banks, 1074 Country Lane Rd., Petroleum, WV 26161, or Ritchie County Library, 608 E. Main St., Harrisville, WV 26362.

“My sincerest condolences to the entire Danner family. I am Kitty’s first cousin (Harriet “Becky” Gilds Mulligan). My mother (Kathryn Maus Gilds) was a sister to Levi D Maus, Jr. The last time I saw Kitty was at my mother’s funeral in 2006 in Westminster. We kept in touch through annual Christmas cards. She loved keeping me posted on the family. I’m just sorry we have lost touch over the years. Kitty was a jolly fun loving person and I loved her laugh. May she Rest In Peace.”
