Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved JoAnn Reed of Harrisville, West Virginia, who passed away at the age of 80, on January 31, 2025. She was predeceased by: her daughter Joey (Minnie McKinney); and her siblings, Beverly Sue McKinney, Beverly McKinney and Billy McKinney. She is survived by: her husband Louis Reed of Harrisville, WV; her son Timothy Basham (Christy) of Elkview, WV; her siblings, Joey "Buddy" McKinney of New Milton, WV, Jimmy McKinney of New Milton, WV, David McKinney of New Milton, WV, Judy Short of Clarksburg, WV, Peachie Bruffy of West Union, WV and Nellie Leggett of Oxford, WV; her grandchildren, Stormie Swiger (Jeffery) of Clarksburg, WV, Erin Basham of Elkview, WV and Alexandrea Basham of Elkview, WV; and her great grandchildren, Dixie Swiger and Maci Jo Swiger.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Raiguel Funeral Home (1200 E Main St, Harrisville, WV 26362).
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to the Wood County 4-H Leaders Association, in memo line indicate Horse Program, 1 Court Square Suite 408 Parkersburg, WV 26101.
