He was predeceased by: his parents, Hosea Harrison Wass and Gladys Willa Bush Wass; his former wife Delma Dorraine Smith Wass; his wife Mary Evelyn Ross Wass; and his siblings, Dennis Brooks Wass, Hilda L. Wass and Coralie Smith.
He is survived by: his daughters, Rita Jean Garrett (Eddy) of Williamstown and Debra A. Hoover (Mike) of St. Marys; his stepchildren, Roger Ross (Janet) of Ellenboro, Sharon Meeks and Debra Wagner (Alan) of Ellenboro; his brother Wayne Wass (Pat); his grandchildren, Charity Tomlin (Chris), Joshua Garrett, Rebekah Huntsman (Mike), Mandy Shanley (Bronson) and Stacy Kimball (Terry) of St. Marys; and his stepgrandchildren, Danny Meeks, Amanda Meeks, Angela Ross of Harrisville and Joshua Wagner. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and four step-great-grandchildren.
