It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dortha Lea Anderson (Harrisville, West Virginia), who passed away on February 17, 2023, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Riddle (Pierce) and Shirley Riddle; her husband Jim Anderson; and her sister Sharon. She is survived by: her brothers, Bobby Riddle (Esther) and Dan Riddle (Cindy); her children, Beverly Lopreste (Jim), Larry Gregg (Deb), Terry Skinner (Rick) and Cheryl Gregg; her grandchildren, Jimmy Hartness, Shawn Gregg, Michael Lopreste, Aaron Lopreste (Emily), Bethany Lopreste and Matthew Lopreste; and her pet Dixie. She is also survived by five great grandchildren, two great-great grandchildren.
Later, when her mother began a much longer journey through the darkness of Alzheimer's Disease, Jim and Dortha moved into the farm house and were there every step of the way until Mrs. Riddle passed to glory as well.
