He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph L. "Swifty" Nicholas and Ida Mae Whipkey Nicholas; his wife Nina Rose; and his siblings, Ralph, Carroll, Phyllis and Colleen.
He is survived by: his siblings, Cleston, Phillip, Alta Mae Richards and Sandra Richter; his children, Michelle D. "Shelly" (Rick Boyce) of Parkersburg, Rebecca Rose (Don Stemple) and Charles Michael Nicholas of Vienna; his grandson Justin Boyce (Jennifer); and his children, Evelyn, Alex, Chris Boyce (Adriana), Lucia, Nico, Sammy, Stacey Collins (Steven), Sterling, Stella, Andrew Summers (Stefani), Lacey, Ivy, Zachary Nicholas, Jessica Summers, Bethany Dimagno, Derek Stemple (Aurela), Nathen Stemple (Haley) and Kendall.
