He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlton "Budge" Burns and Blondena Goff Burns; and his sisters-in-law, Sylvia Burns (Gene) and Brenda Talbott (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Regina Ball; his children, Kimberly Matthews (Larry) of Myrtle Beach, S. C., Kathy Carroll (Danny) of Harrisville, WV. and Kevin Burns (Donna) of Harrisville, WV.; his siblings, L. Gene Burns of Vienna, WV. and Carla Worden (Steve) of Cornwallis, WV.; his pets, Blackie and Buffy; and also, Shawn Blevins (Nanette), Chris Blevins (Sara), Ryan Blevins (Kaylyn), Justin Blevins (Brittany), Brandon Burns (Charlotte), Jared Burns, Hunter Burns and Nathan Carroll (Ashley). He is also survived by ten great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family service will be held at the convenience of the family.
