With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan Penelope Scott of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Beall and Ethelene Morris Beall; her husband William "Bill" Scott; her siblings, Nancy Beall, Patricia Humple and Charles "Sonny" Beall, Jr.; her niece Patty Ann; and her nephews, Danny and Andy.
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie McCauley; her son-in-law Chris of Charles Town; her granddaughters, Courtney Viands and Allison McCauley (Slade McDowell); her great grandchildren, Charlie Rose Viands and Kip Viands (Larry Painter, Sr.); her niece Donna Sies; and her close friend Angie Pearrell.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home (256 Halltown Rd, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the local food banks.
