It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Roger Sexton of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, born in Ronceverte, West Virginia, who passed away on June 5, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Sexton and Sylvilla Wingler Sexton. He is survived by: his wife Treasure Eileen Painter Sexton; his son Matthew Sexton (Carrie); his granddaughter Evalyn; and his brothers, Clifford, Terry, Frank (Jill) and Corey (Kim). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Up until Covid we hadn't missed a WVU home game in person in several years.
