It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Norvel LeNarde Willis of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, who passed away on September 9, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Willis and Geraldine Louise Willis (Gillison) of Harpers Ferry, WV.; and his sister Brenda Diane Willis. He is survived by: his close friend Norma Jean Coley; and his siblings, Huel Willis (Laverne), Douglas Willis, Janis Thomas, Deborah Willis, April Hamilton (Alan), Shawn Willis (Donna) and Stacy Willis. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and an aunt.
In lieu of flowers, please send memorial contributions to the "Save Harpers Ferry's Weaver-Gillison House" gofundme project, which was Norvel's latest collaboration to ultimately create a cultural center for his hometown community.
