She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Malcomb Wenner and Bessie Marie Grove Wenner; her husband Marcus John Rutherford, Sr.; and her siblings, Betty, Herb "Bubby" Wenner and Lawrence Wenner.
She is survived by: her children, Susan Pierson (Calvin) of Charles Town, WV, Randy T. Rutherford (Diane) of Kearneysville, WV and Johnny Rutherford (Jane) of Harpers Ferry; her grandchildren, Marc, Jason, Adam, Briana and Zach; and her great grandchildren, Jaydon, Brody and Kai. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
