She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene A. Hawthorne and Judith J. Ashcraft. She is survived by: her husband Kim Glascock; her siblings, Paxton Hawthorne and Marilee Weikel; and her nieces, Hannah Hawthorne and Sally Creekmore.
Karen loved all animals so in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to your local animal shelter or The Nature Conservancy.
