It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Hunter Ashwood of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, born in Charles Town, West Virginia, who passed away on October 14, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Holmes Hunter Ashwood and Bonnie Sharon Brawner Jenkins; and his sisters, Donna Costello and Cindy Longerbeam. He is survived by: his daughter Mia James (Zarius); his grandchildren, Avery, Raegan and Remi; his sister Robin Moreno (Manny); and his girlfriend Robin Jackson. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and cousins.
