She is survived by: her parent Hazel Virginia Penwell Hardy; her husband Floyd Franklin Spates, Sr.; her son Floyd Franklin Spates, Jr. of Harpers Ferry; her grandchildren, Angela Ferraiolo (Mark) of Inwood and Bradley Spates of Kearneysville; her great grandchildren, Elliana, Avvie, Maggie and Colter; and her daughter-in-law Debera Spates.
