With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Helen Louise Atkinson of Harpers Ferry, West Virginia, born in Steubenville, Ohio, who passed away on September 30, 2020 at the age of 81. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Helen Louise Atkinson to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Wilson Layman, Sr. and Helen Freeland Layman; her husband Paul Richard Atkinson; and her brother Karl James Layman (Kay). She is survived by: her daughters, Linda Atkinson Eaton (Bradley) of Harpers Ferry and Janie Atkinson Gaudens of Harpers Ferry; her grandson Zachary Thomas Eaton (Alexandra Martin) of Petersburg; and her brothers, Frank Wilson Layman, Jr. (Lorna) of Westerville and Robert Grant "Bob" Layman of Circleville. She is also survived by numerous nieces and one nephew.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Asbury United Methodist Women.
