He is survived by: his daughter Wendy D. Pettit of Harpers Ferry, WV; and his grandchildren, Isabella H. Pettit, Patrick E. Pettit and Shannon N. Pettit. He is also survived by three great grandchildren; special companion "Buddy" his cat.
