He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Worth Voorhees and Louise Voorhees (Brehm); and his siblings, Christine Lyszcak and Leo Voorhees. He is survived by: his wife Nancy Voorhees (Smith); his children, Sara Laitres (Steve) of Harpers Ferry, WV, Courte C. W. Voorhees of Shepherdstown, WV, Abraham Voorhees (Yvonne) of Chamisal, NM and Patricia Romero (Isaac) of Albuquerque; his grandchildren, Holly, Amanda, Sebastian, Tempest, Raven, Adrian, Aubrey, Malia, Katie, LeAnna, Hailey and Alexander; and his siblings, Louise Fitzpatrick, Anne Chmielewski (David), Charles Voorhees, David Voorhees (Jill), Phillip Voorhees (Cherie) and Thomas Voorhees. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Courte's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
