He is survived by: his wife Myrtle Vandevender Bennett; his children, Diana Lynn Norman (Cody) of Dailey, Kelly Lynn Bennett (Matthew Smith) of Dailey, Kyanna Lynn Bennett (Joseph Marsh) of Elkins and Hayden Smith of Parsons; his siblings, Wanda Smith (Woody) of Valley Head, Connie Mae Pratt (Bob) of Elkins, Kenny Arbogast of Dailey, Hootie Arbogast of Montrose, Norma Jean Daniels (Lonnie) of Huttonsville, Glenn Allen Arbogast of Davis and Kevin "Jake" Arbogast (Becky) of St. George; and his grandchildren, Austin Allen Bennett, Abigail Dawn Norman, Sophia Lynn Smith, Tanner Lee Marsh and Tessa Rae Marsh.
