He was predeceased by: his parents, Kara Miller and Irene "Deanie" Miller; and his wife Charlene Shannon Miller. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Shannon Gobel of Hurricane, WV and Robert "Bear" Gobel of Edgewood, MD; his daughter Robin Gobel (Bob Gobel) of Hanover, WV; his siblings, Donald "Doncie" Miller (Earnestine) of Milton, WV, Joyce Morgan (Arble) of Bristol, TN and Denny "Doody" Miller (Valerie) of Clear Fork, WV.; and his close friends, Sheila, Steve Dewese and Alberta Stacy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces, and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fanning Funeral Home (4299 Coal Heritage Rd, Iaeger, WV 24844). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
