He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Ferble Athelene Grimmett (Hatfield); his daughter Kathy Lynette Grimmett; his brother Tommie Grimmett; and his siblings-in-law, Regina Toler Wooten, Judy Diane King and Ronald Toler.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Faye Grimmett (Toler) of Hampden; his children, Christa Gayle Kovach (Steve) of Omar and Jonathan Grimmett (Lydia) of Wisconsin; his grandchildren, Katelyn Grimmett of Hampden, Preston L. Kovach of Omar, Lisa A. Kovach of Huntington, Christopher Davies of Georgia, Hunter Davies of Georgia, Aidan J. Grimmett of Georgia and Elizabeth A. Grimmett of Georgia; his great grandchildren, Coen N. Lee of Hampden, Jason of Georgia and Avery Davies of Georgia; and his siblings, Pamela Cline (Mark) of Myrtle Beach and Donnie Grimmett (Sandy) of South Point, Ohio.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other dear relatives and friends.
