She was predeceased by: her husband James Taylor Adkins; her parents, Lark Blankenship and Pansy Blankenship; and her foster parents, Elijah Adkins and Ella Adkins.
She is survived by: her brothers, Paul Blankenship (Judy), Lark Jr. Blankenship (Lena) and Dexter Adkins; her sisters-in-law, Glenna Adkins, Gloria Adkins (Sherman) and Sylvia Adkins; her stepdaughters, Charlotte Thomas and Susie Adkins; her nieces and nephews, Jody Adkins, Michael Adkins and Lori Wyler (Scott); her daughters, Heather and Carissa; her siblings, Earl, Carl, Anthony, Frank, Malcolm, Boyce, Bobby, Jackie Blankenship, Lova Jean Blankenship, Bonnie Blankenship Lee and Mildred Blankenship Dobish; and also Wayne (Cathy). She is also survived by many other nieces and nephews, great/great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Handley Funeral Home- Hamlin (7350 Lynn Ave, Hamlin, WV 25523). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
