James Albert Coffman Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Albert Coffman of Hamlin, West Virginia, who passed away on February 9, 2022, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Elaine McComas; his parents, James Albert Coffman Sr. and Mabel Coffman; his sister Doris Jean Nida; his brother-in-law Lester Nida; his sister Helen Joyce Martin; his brother-in-law Francis McComas; his nephew Francis "Bo" McComas; his granddaughter Paige Elaine Coffman; and his friends, Robert Frye, Cass Hutchinson, Junior Triplett and Jerry Bumgardner.

He is survived by: his children, James Albert Coffman III, Dr. Shawn Wayne Coffman, Amy Coffman Roam and Lora Jean Coffman; his grandchildren, Timothy Coffman, Kelly Coffman, Joseph Coffman, Tyler Coffman, Peter Coffman, Cameron Roam and Carly Roam; his great grandchild Finn Taylor; his brothers-in-law, Dale Manns and James Allen Martin Sr.; his nieces and nephews, Lester "Rusty" Nida Jr., Robert Nida, James Allen "Marty" Martin Jr., Beth Prichard Martin, Michael Manns, Stephen Manns, Matthew Manns, Bess Jeffrey, Rae Ritter and Rea Ritter; and also Carolyn Sue. He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be two hours prior to service with CDC Covid guidelines of wearing a mask and social distancing.
