He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Goldie Dean (Adkins) and Osta Dean of Hamlin; and his siblings, James A. Dean of Brooklyn, Ohio., Robert Dean (Cheryl) of Charleston, R. D. Dean (Peggy) of Hamlin and Vicki Dean (Robert Haycock) of Morganton, Georgia. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
