He was predeceased by: his parents, Carmie Parsons and Faye Clay Parsons; and his brother Albert Zandell Parsons. He is survived by: his daughter Janie Parsons; and his siblings, Glenna Vance (Terry), Loriann Gard (Ernest), Arleen Ray (Ricky), Drema Parsons Chenault, Carmie Parsons, II (Kathy), Charlotte Faye Wilson, Marshall Neil Parsons (April) and Walter Crag Parsons.
