She was predeceased by: her husband Jimmie Edward Powell; her parents, Della Lane and Ezra Lane; and her siblings, Willie, Bernice, Earl, Charles, Arnold, Ezra Jr., Beulah, Ruby, Clarence, Doris and Gordon.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Galarza (William), Rosalee Washington, Gar Powell (Ellen) and Gregory Scott Powell; her grandchildren, William James Galarza (Kerry), Robert Galarza (Sarah), John Galarza (Amy), Monica Soto, Angelica Soto, Gene Powell, Aubrie Powell and Jacob Powell; her siblings, June Lopez and Bobby Lane; her great grandchildren, Lily, Ben, Bella, Sam, Will, Alexandra and Theo; and her cousins, Tammy and Lucy (family: Frank, Eloise).
