He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry Bilby and Esta Bilby of Virginia; his wife Retha Louise Kimble; his daughter Susan Elaine Bilby; and his siblings, Mildred Louise Bilby Eggenberger, Oran Calvin Bilby and Freeman Guy Bilby.
He is survived by: his daughter Marian Louise Tripp (Edward) of Huntsville, AL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
