We are sad to announce that on January 29, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Herbert Anderson of Hacker Valley, West Virginia. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father Boyd Baxter Anderson; and his siblings, Bobby Leroy Anderson and Daisy Ruth Anderson. He is survived by: his mother Vertie Verlene Anderson (Pudder); his daughter Mary Elizabeth (Charles "Pat" Shieler) of Summersville; his stepson Shaun (Reva Cogar) of Jumbo; his grandchildren, Anna, James Wolverton, Katie, Troy and Sammy Cogar; his sisters, Della Anderson of Buckhannon, Linda Tenney of Buckhannon and Jean Anderson of Buckhannon; and the mother of his children Wilma Cogar Anderson of Webster Springs.
Due to COVID-19, all who attend the services please practice the social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC and the state of WV, including the wearing of facial coverings.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dodd & Reed Funeral Home, to assist the family with final expenses.
