She was predeceased by: her parents, Drury Harper and Ethel Bankhead Harper; her husband Richard Franklin Simmons; her grandsons, Tyler and Josh Simmons; her daughter-in-law Lisa Simmons; and her brother Chet Harper.
She is survived by: her children, Jeff Tenney (Sandy) of Pickens, WV, Kevin Simmons of French Creek, WV, Diane Bender (Danny) of Hacker Valley, WV, Roberta Sears (Randy) of French Creek and Patty Cowger (Tom) of Hacker Valley; and her siblings, Susan Brown (Leonard) of Cleveland, WV, Jerald Harper of Cleveland, WV and Mike Harper (Diane) of Cleveland, WV. She is also survived by ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren.
