He is survived by: his wife Joan Rene Drain Tate; his sons, Steven Tate of Gypsy, Norman Tate (Dakota Yeager) of Shinnston, Gervice Tate (Cassandra Knotts) of Grafton and Robert Tate of Gypsy; his grandchildren, Destiny, Tori, Jackson, Heath and Walyn; his great grandchildren, Greyson and Carson; and his siblings, Ronald Tate (Alesia) of Gypsy, Jim Tate (Yvonne) of Meadowbrook, Dave Tate and Suzie Tate of Gypsy.
