She was predeceased by: her parents, Eddie Humes and Florence Violet Redden (Simms); her husband Laud Alfred Gifford, Sr.; her daughter Violet Marie Riley (Gifford); her grandson Zachary Ryan Gifford; and her parents-in-law, Chester Ernest and Virgie Marie Gifford (Davis).
She is survived by: her children, Laud A. Gifford, Jr. of Clarksburg, WV, Darlene V. Thompson (Rodney) of Orange, VA and Robert L. Gifford (Michele) of Shinnston, WV.; her grandchildren, Dawn Shears (Bobby) of Gypsy, WV, John Wall (Erin) of Haymarket, VA, Desiree Greathouse of Bridgeport, WV, Shaun Gifford (Rikki) of Clarksburg, WV and Justina Riley (John Michael) of Wallace, WV; her great grandchildren, Derek Gifford, Brynna Greathouse, Thomas Gifford, Isaiah Greathouse, Alex Gifford, Hunter Shears, Hailey Gifford, Skylar Gifford, Emilia Gifford and Logan Riffle; and her great-nephew Justin Morgan.
