He is survived by: his wife Katherine Toney Whitten; his children, Ronald Whitten, Jr. of Griffithsville and Renea Christian (Bobby) of Griffithsville; his grandchildren, Kaylee Christian and Kyle Christian of Griffithsville; his great grandchild Emmitt Edwards of Griffithsville; and his sisters-in-law, Charlotte Whitten of Griffithsville, Chiquita Whitten of Woodville and Pat Toney of Georgia.
