He was predeceased by: his parents, Millard Cochrane and Garnet Cochrane; his son Steve Cochrane; and his siblings, Lon, Donald Ray, Kenneth, David, Ruth, Edith and Phyllis Jean.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Lester Cochrane of Greenville; his daughter Jean Ann (Harold McCoy) of Greenville; his daughter-in-law Missy Cochrane of Man; his grandsons, Jacob (Lindsay McCoy) of Columbus, OH, John McCoy (Allie Fortner) of Verner, Erik of Man and Evan Cochrane of Man; and his great grandchildren, Asa, Erin McCoy and Ruzek Alexander.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Claypool Methodist Church (3635 Huff Crk Hwy, Claypool, WV 25606). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Highland Memory Gardens (5654 Old Logan Rd, Logan, WV 25601).
