He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lewis and Gladys Broyles Larew; his wife Delene Wines Larew; his son Peter Lewis Larew; his grandson Marcus Daniel Speer; and his siblings, Margaret Moore, Helen Sune, Robert and Tully Larew.
He is survived by: his siblings, Wilbur Larew (Irene), Charles Larew (Dorothy), Roberta Allison, Gennie Heatwole and Julia Light (Buddy); his daughters, Connie Holovics (David) of Canton, OH, Alice Matheny (Jim) of Lee's Summit, MO and Helen Larew Speer of Albuquerque, NM.; his grandchildren, Thomas Holovics (Heidi) of St. Louis, MO, Melisa Barden (Joshua) of Canton, OH, Adam Holovics (Emily) of Portland, OR, Danielle Matheny-Pernu (Addy) of Philadelphia, PA, Ciera Matheny (Jason) of Kansas City, MO, Paige Spiva (Dave) of Kansas City, MO, Johnathan McCumber of Aliquippa, PA, Alissa Trujillo (Mat) of Albuquerque, NM and Shaun Speer (John) of Las Vegas, NV; and his great grandchildren, Amber, Trevor, Emmett Holovics, Reid, Makenna Barden, Maple Holovics, Jordyn, Ryan, Devyn Trujillo, Marcus Jr., Dominic and Faith Speer.
In lieu of flowers, the family would like his legacy to be honored with donations to Hans Creek Community Hall c/o 3548 Hans Creek Road, Greenville, WV 24945. Donations can also be made to the 4-H program.
