With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Albert Clayton Bishop Sr. of Greenville, West Virginia, born in Welch, West Virginia, who passed away on March 28, 2023 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ebert Bishop and Alta Branson Bishop; and his siblings, Ona Lee Roberts and Ebert Jasper Bishop Jr.. He is survived by: his children, Albert Clayton Bishop Jr. (Kim) of Glenwood, WV and Diana Godditti of Kentucky; his sisters, Mary Jane Steele (Darrell) of Bluefield, WV, Anna Pruitt (Bill) of Thomasville, NC and Freddie Ray Bishop (Debbie) of Brushfork, WV; and his friend June Prynest. He is also survived by grandson; two granddaughters; a great granddaughter; a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
