He was predeceased by: his parents, Erwin Fishel and Pearlie Fishel (Sager); his son-in-law Billy Loy; and his siblings, Donald Fishel, Betty Fishel and Carol Fishel.
He is survived by: his children, Justin K. Fishel of Falling Waters, Michael P. Bazzell of Short Gap, Harry Miller of Mt. Savage, Sherry C. Loy of High View and E. Dawn Fishel of Green Spring; his grandchildren, Christopher Loy, Logan Laffey, Colton Laffey, Carder Laffey, Lilly Miller and Kaison Miller; and his siblings, Jackie Fishel (Barb) of Mt. Storm, Kay Cosner (Dale) of Green Spring, Joyce Haines (Earl) of Springfield and Pauline Bennett (Ron) of Virginia. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and his life-long best friend.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Shaffer Funeral Home (230 E Main St, Romney, WV 26757). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 5th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
