He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles F. Thuss and Marian L. Thuss; his wife Frances V. Thuss (Cook); his niece Christian Lashbaugh; and his nephew Austin Charles Thuss.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Adams of Carpendale, WV, Daniel Kesner (Wilda) of Keyser, WV, Peggy Wilson (Tom) of Green Spring, Jane Kesner of Keyser, Rick Kesner of Keyser, Tammy Hollada (Russ) of Myersdale, PA, Terri Covington (Doug) of Keyser and April Kesner of Keyser; and his siblings, Larry Thuss (Belinda) of Gilmore, MD, Kenneth Thuss (Shelly) of Cumberland, Nancy Rankin (Robert) of Frostburg, MD. and Carol Lashbaugh (Harold) of Frostburg, MD.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
